SUMMARY:Anchored in Wellness: Thriving Amidst the Complexity
DESCRIPTION:Course Description:  \nLife isn’t getting simpler. The demands are real\, the roles we carry are many\, and the pressure to keep it all together rarely lets up. But what if instead of waiting until we break\, we built lives designed to hold us steady—before the storm hits? \nThis keynote is about more than managing burnout—it’s about designing a life that makes space for complexity. Anchored in Wellness invites you to step back from the noise and ask: What am I building beneath me to keep me grounded when things get hard? We’ll explore what it means to cultivate real wellbeing: not as a list of to-dos\, but as a foundation you can return to. You’ll learn how to recognize early signs of strain\, strengthen your support network\, and take intentional steps toward a life that’s sustainable\, connected\, and aligned with your values. \nThis session isn’t focused on organizational wellness policies—it’s about you. But as we build our own wellness anchors\, we naturally create healthier cultures around us. Because how we show up ripples out. When we’re grounded\, we create space for others to thrive too. \nWhether you’re navigating stress\, craving more alignment\, or ready to lead your life with intention\, this keynote is a call to come home to yourself—and build something sturdy enough to anchor you through life’s complexity. \n  \nLearning Objectives: \nAssess your current wellness foundation by identifying the habits\, mindsets\, and supports that help or hinder your ability to stay grounded during stress and complexity. \nRecognize early signs of misalignment or burnout by learning to interpret physical\, emotional\, and behavioral indicators—before they escalate. \nDevelop a personal wellness strategy by selecting specific\, realistic actions that align with your values and can be integrated into daily life to create long-term sustainability. \nStrengthen your relational and environmental support systems by mapping key connections and intentionally investing in people and spaces that help you stay anchored. \n  \nTo Watch this Webinar on the Media Library CLICK HERE!

SUMMARY:Building a Contingency Plan for an Unexpected CEO Departure
DESCRIPTION:Course Description:  \nNonprofit organizations face many risks that can damage an organization’s hard-earned reputation\, deplete financial assets\, and generally cause operational mayhem. One often-ignored risk is the possibility of an unexpected departure of the “chief staff” position (CEO\, Executive Director\, etc.). Organizations that have risk mitigation procedures and contingency plans in place will fare better than organizations that are caught off guard. \nIn this presentation we will discuss actions and tactics you can use to lower risk and key success. We will discuss how to develop a set of contingency plans and document related action steps for an unexpected CEO departure through assembling basic risk mitigation procedures and tactical applications and documenting them in a formal written contingency plan. We will also discuss the important complimentary differences between organizational succession planning and CEO transition planning. We will conclude with a discussion on appointing an interim CEO allowing for time to work through a thoughtful 10-step CEO succession and transition plan. \n  \nLearning Objectives: \nIdentify key considerations for effectively responding to an unexpected CEO departure. \nAnalyze potential risks that may arise when the CEO position is vacant and how to mitigate these risks both to operational continuity and the organization’s reputation. \nDescribe the essential components of a contingency plan designed to ensure smooth interim operations and communication during executive leadership transitions. \nDifferentiate between organizational succession planning and CEO transition planning\, and explain how appointing an interim CEO supports a structured\, 10-step succession and transition process. \n  \nTo Watch this Webinar on the Media Library CLICK HERE! \n \n
