DESCRIPTION:COURSE DESCRIPTION: \nStates have long relied on tax revenues to fuel their budgets. Those revenues were unexpectedly stretched thin in 2020 when the government shut down large parts of the economy to stop the spread of COVID-19. In this course\, you will gain an overview of the most important considerations for site selection and how those factors may have changed in the last 2 years with the pandemic. How does your Association define objectives for meetings and events in alignment with organizational goals and stakeholder needs. What are the best practices used by Associations to prioritize the use of organizational resources (i.e.\, cost considerations) to achieve successful meetings and events. What process can be used to evaluate outcomes (past and current meetings) relative to objectives to improve future meetings and events.
