DESCRIPTION:Course Description:  \nExecutive succession happens with increasing frequency\, but relatively few associations and nonprofits plan for potentially disruptive successions. This session is designed to stress the need for\, and importance of\, conscious planning by staffs and boards for the times when executives will leave their positions. DESCRIPTION:Course Description:  \nThis session will address potential and actual conflicts of interest in nonprofit organizations\, with specific focus on the three IRS classifications most common to the association marketspace. Knowing how to recognize\, manage\, and avoid damage from conflicts of interest while still operating an effective organization is the goal of this presentation.
