SUMMARY:W454: The True Implications of AI for the Association Industry: Part 2 – Considerations for Adding AI to Your Tech Stack
DESCRIPTION:COURSE DESCRIPTION: \nThe True Implications of AI for the Association Industry \nA four-part strategic conversation between forward thinking industry leaders and YOU\, about how association leaders should be thinking about the impact of generative AI on the association industry as a whole\, as well as on your own association and its members.  This series will provide food for thought and some questions for consideration\, through a full group discussion hosted by a small group of panelists who have already put a lot of thought into these topics and have some insight to share. The bulk of the time will be for general discussion and Q&A – you will be sure to leave with your mind buzzing as well as some practical ideas and next steps to bring back to your organization. \nWe will cover the following topics: \n  \nPart 2 – Considerations for Adding AI to Your Tech Stack \nAI functionality has been part of our tech stack for a while\, of course\, but we’re about to see an avalanche of new tools\, plugins and features from the big platforms we use everyday (looking at you\, Microsoft and Google).  How do we manage this onslaught of shiny tools?  And how do we get proactive about researching and adding other new tools to evolve our tech strategy and tech stack?  How do we keep on top of security risks?  \nBring your questions\, ideas\, and resources/links if you have some!  All sessions in this series will provide actionable resources from panelists and participants for all to take away. \n  \nPart 3 – Personalization\, Privacy and AI \nPersonalization\, targeted content\, and questions of privacy have been points of discussions for years. Why then are the very people who touted the value of personalizing online experiences decrying the wickedness of generative AI? Google\, Facebook\, and even LinkedIn ply us with ads and content based on algorithms we will never see. In fact\, harnessing those algorithms to our benefit is the holy grail of marketers. We will discuss the high-level differences that make the considerations for generative AI and narrative chat a new\, and often concerning new tool in the hands of both good and bad actors. \nBring your questions\, ideas\, and resources/links if you have some!  All sessions in this series will provide actionable resources from panelists and participants for all to take away. \nREGISTER for Part 3 \n  \nPart 4 – Responsible AI And Associations’ Role In Defining The Ethics Of AI \nThe Responsible AI Manifesto states\, “We have to be willing to have the hard conversations now so that we do not ruin what can be one of the most transformative technological shifts in human history. As AI capabilities race forward\, leaders must clearly define their principles\, policies and procedures.”  How can associations – standards-bearers by design—lead the charge?  How should we start thinking about the ethics of AI\, starting at home in our own organizations?  \nBring your questions\, ideas\, and resources/links if you have some!  All sessions in this series will provide actionable resources from panelists and participants for all to take away. \nREGISTER for Part 4 \n  \nLEARNING OBJECTIVES: \n\n– Easily manage the onslaught of new tools and plugins\n– Get proactive about researching and adding other new tools\n– Stay on top of security risks with easy to use resources\n– Network with experts in the tech industry to create the best tech stack for your business\n– Access actionable resources from panelists and practitioners that can be implemented immediately\n\n  \nTo Watch this Webinar on the Media Library CLICK HERE!
