DESCRIPTION:Course Description:  \nStrong board governance is the foundation of nonprofit and association success—but it must evolve to meet current needs. This webinar will explore key governance practices that support transparency\, accountability\, and strategic alignment. We’ll examine core topics such as board size\, term limits\, and the importance of regular Bylaws review\, as well as effective board member training and orientation. \nIn addition\, we’ll address emerging issues facing boards today\, including the implications of artificial intelligence on governance responsibilities and oversight\, and how associations are approaching diversity\, equity\, and inclusion (DEI) commitments in a shifting cultural and political landscape.
