For the past 17 years, I have specialized in solution design and technology direction. My motto is that “technology solutions should never cost more than the problem they’re fixing”. Technology should exist to accomplish one of three objectives for an organization:

1. Improve the organizations top or bottom line
2. Protect the organizations operations, data, IP, and people
3. improve the operations, efficiency or lives of the people at the organization

Since my accelerated career into IT started, I have spent the last 16 years finding new and better approaches to technology problems. Early on, I experienced rapid transitions within several companies overhauling their IT departments and working as the escalation point to difficult technical challenges. I learned how to take the obscurity of a technical issue and pull apart the technology to see the underlying business objective.

As the VP of Information Technology at Tigunia, I manage a network infrastructure team of subject matter experts, DevOps Team, Systems Architects, Solution Integrators, Network Operations Center and Helpdesk Services. I am responsible for IT strategy, security objectives, network administration, client initiatives, sales, consultations, technical support, and platform vendor management. I educate and train industry leaders and customers alike on a regular basis, helping understand their business problems and identify the correct solution for their IT needs. There is no such thing as a one-size-fits-all in IT.

While I have worn a lot of hats, one of my biggest accomplishments to date is my current team. I have helped shape a talented IT team that really gets the job done. At Tigunia, our business technology solutions are all about balancing a tangible business need against a cost-effective solution. As an MSP, CSP, Microsoft Solution Partner across all 6 solution areas, Cisco partner, and VM Ware partner (VCCP), we help establish vision and direction for our clients.

It may not seem like I have much spare time, but when I do, I like to play video games, watch foreign films, read fantasy epics, and paint with my wife. If you need any platform or infrastructure advice, or if you would like to learn more about what we do at Tigunia, please send me an invitation to connect.
