Lindsay Currie, CAE is the Executive Officer of the Council on Undergraduate Research (CUR), where she leads strategic initiatives that elevate undergraduate research and strengthen the impact of the broader higher education ecosystem. A champion of mission-driven leadership, Lindsay brings more than two decades of experience in association management with a focus on innovation, community-building, and long-term sustainability.
Guided by a passion for human-centered executive practice and strategic foresight, Lindsay helps associations navigate change, design resilient business models, and build cultures that support both purpose and people.
She serves on the Governing Board of NIGP: The Institute for Public Procurement, the Board of the Center for Advancing Research Impact in Society (ARIS), and the ASAE Executive Management Committee, where she contributes to shaping the future of the association profession. She is also a Senior Fellow with the M.J. Murdock Charitable Trust, supporting leadership and capacity-building efforts across the nonprofit sector.
Lindsay is co-author of several publications, including Triage, Transition, and Transformation: How the Council on Undergraduate Research (CUR) Adapted and Evolved in a COVID-19 World, and is a frequent speaker on leadership sustainability, executive foresight, and sector transformation.
She holds a BA in history and political science, summa cum laude, and a master’s certificate in public relations from Monmouth University, as well as an MA in women and gender studies from Rutgers University. She is a Certified Association Executive (CAE) through ASAE: The Center for Association Leadership.
