Kristine Metter, MS, CAE, founded Crystal Lake Partners in 2019 to help nonprofits advance their missions while adhering to strong business practices. With more than 30 years of experience, she works with association staff and volunteers to grow revenue, embrace foresight, strengthen stakeholder experience, and design meaningful events. Her deep knowledge of strategy and operations gives her the unique ability to help associations imagine the possible and bring it to reality. At the core of her work is the belief that bringing people together improves the fabric of American society. Our collective wisdom creates unbounded synergies and allows all boats to rise together.
Prior to founding Crystal Lake Partners, Ms. Metter held senior staff positions with America’s Essential Hospitals, the Visiting Nurse Associations of America (VNAA), AcademyHealth, and the National Association of Student Personnel Administrators (NASPA). She has also worked in the health services field with organizations such as the American Red Cross, the National Institutes of Health, and the National Marrow Donor Program.
She is a certified association executive (CAE), and holds an MS in Nonprofit Management from the University of Maryland Global Campus and a BSBA in Marketing from the University of Missouri.
