Nikki Shanks, MBA, CAE, is a futurist, relationship builder, and change agent for associations. Nikki has been recognized as a leader in association management having received the Association Forum’s 40 Under 40 Award. She was also selected for the AAMSE Leadership Academy. She’s been active in membership, volunteer engagement, and constituent relations for the American Academy of Dermatology, American Society of Healthcare Risk Management and the American Academy of Periodontology. She has led strategy planning and membership value proposition research with Association Laboratory, a research consulting company for associations, and is currently the Sr. Manager of Component Relations at the American Health Information Management Association. She manages the training and development for 50 component associations and their leaders. Ms. Shanks volunteers for FSAE and is a speaker and content contributor for FSAE and ASAE. She received her MBA from Benedictine University and her BA in International Studies from Loyola University of Chicago. She obtained her CAE in 2016
