Silvia Quevedo, CAE
Silvia Quevedo is a certified association executive (CAE) with over 20 years of experience in association management and currently serves as interim executive director of the National Association of Healthcare Access Management (NAHAM), a Smithbucklin client. She previously served as executive director of Lamaze International; director of practice guidance and research for the Association for Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology (APIC) and as associate director of academic affairs and research education for the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). She is an ASAE Diversity Executive Leadership Program (DELP) Scholar (2014-2016 cohort) and has served the association community in several volunteer leadership roles including the 2019 Chair of the ASAE Foundation Research Committee, ASAE Innovation Grant Program judge, Hispanic Association Executive Group, and as Professional Development Committee Chair for Association Latinos and the 2025 Medical Society Fundraising Network Annual Meeting co-chair. She has presented topics including governance, leadership, and workforce development. She previously worked as a medical speech-language pathologist and served as clinical faculty at two universities training graduate students in communication sciences and disorders.
