Shira is committed to finding the “higher purpose” in every hire. Within her recruiting, career coaching, executive coaching, and generational diversity practices, Shira helps create highly engaged workplaces by focusing on the mutual purpose of both employers and employees.
With deep experience placing executives and professionals in associations and nonprofits, she is adept at gaining the trust of boards and volunteers, empowering staff, and driving business models that go beyond the traditional suite of member offerings.
As a career and executive coach, she has guided leaders on journeys of self-discovery to understand how their core competencies and career motivators can make the biggest impact on their organizations.
For a decade, Shira has facilitated two peer roundtables for association executives: SAFE (Small Association Forum for Executives) and CASE (Consortium of Association Staff Executives) which have provided a safe forum for leaders to share their challenges and glean valuable advice from their peers. She has also served on three committees for ASAE.
A keynote presenter and trainer on managing multigenerational workforces, Shira has offered associations real-world insights on how to bridge the generational gap among association staff and their volunteers.
