How to Craft Your Responsible AI Policy

December 3 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm EST
Event Category:

COURSE DESCRIPTION:

Generative AI has exploded into the business world with wide-ranging disruptive potential. As associations grapple with how to incorporate AI into their working practices, often the very first step is to craft a good Responsible AI policy which will provide parameters for staff usage of new tools as well as identify the organization’s position on the often thorny ethical questions involved in using AI. Wary of getting started without a policy in place? In this hands-on, collaborative session, we’ll walk you through step by step how to write your own AI policy and guidelines – and you’ll hear from peers how they are thinking through the big questions around the dangers and benefits of AI in their own organizations.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:

– Identify key elements that belong in a responsible AI policy
– Analyze different different approaches to writing AI guidelines
– Develop a policy template to use right away when you get back to the office.
