What’s the worst part of moving to a new house? If you answered packing, you are definitely not alone. The prep, the wrapping, the boxing: it can all be so incredibly tedious. And yet, if you prepare to pack – get rid of what you don’t need, organize what you do – your move will be more successful.
Moving data from one Constituent Relationship Management (CRM) solution to another is the same. Cleaning, sorting, and organizing your data well prior to a data migration can save you time and money. Better, your implementation will be more successful.
The ideal time to think about how to prepare your existing data for the move is well before you choose a solution and start implementation. In fact, it may be just about now!
