Servant Leadership Training: Skills of Servant Leadership

COURSE DESCRIPTION:

Servant Leadership is a follower focused leadership philosophy that supports follower development. In this session, doctoral candidate Austin Campbell will provide an overview of the central ethos and skills of Servant Leadership. He will discuss the typical skills identified as Servant Leadership and how they interplay with one another via different scenarios. Participants can expect to leave the session with a broader understanding of Servant Leadership and whether or not this methodology is correct for them.

 

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:

  • – Learn to differentiate between leadership and management
  • – Understand the central core of Servant Leadership and how it differs from other leadership styles and methods
  • – Learn how the identified 16 skills support the central ethos of Servant Leadership
