W337: Why Associations Should Stop Planning Events and Start Designing Experiences

December 6, 2022 @ 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm EST

COURSE DESCRIPTION:

It is an understatement to say that 2020 and most of 2021 was disruptive to all facets of our lives. When it came to meetings and events, which historically relied heavily on in-person interaction, it was a time of change and lessons learned. Now that we are returning to in-person events, it is imperative that our associations don’t fall back on history and habit. Learn what it takes to design experiences rather than simply planning events. From meeting design to stakeholder engagement, the landscape has changed—is your association ready?

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:
