Jeremy Zissman joined A. Michael Gellman in forming “Fiscal Strategies 4 Nonprofits” in
2016. Mr. Zissman brings more than 30 years of experience in public, corporate & non-profit
accounting.
Mr. Zissman brings experience in the oversight of the financial health and viability of non-
profits and ensuring that financial resources are aligned with the strategic goals. Mr. Zissman participates in determining strategic direction and program accomplishments by tracking
progress and forecasting outcomes of operations compared to planned objectives, budgets
and grant funds. This function becomes part of an overall Chief Financial Officer (CFO) role
that Mr. Zissman provides to clients in all areas of non-profit accounting. Additionally, Mr.
Zissman provides Chief Investment Officer (CIO), Chief Technology Officer (CTO) as well as
all ancillary functions.
Mr. Zissman started his career in public accounting at KPMG, followed by nearly 20 years in
the corporate accounting environment. Most recently, he transitioned into the non-profit
sector, bringing his corporate accounting experience to non-profits in need of recognizing
corporate governance, strategies and a business model that follows corporate philosophies
while still delivering the invaluable program services to their constituents. Thus, he brings a
wealth of experience in managing the finance and accounting data of organizations to benefit
the clients of “Fiscalstrategies4nonprofits”. He is a certified public accountant in Virginia.
