Jennifer L. Blanck, MEd, MSWB, has more than 30 years of member engagement, professional development, and communications experience. Currently, she is Director of Constituent Engagement at the Association for American Medical Colleges (AAMC), where she oversees leadership and professional development programming for the academic medicine institutional advancement community and manages the annual AAMC Development Survey. She is also a freelance writer and career coach. As part of her work and volunteer roles, Jennifer has developed and implemented member engagement and stewardship programs, served on and staffed boards, and led groups through restructuring to align their activities with institutional strategic priorities and initiatives, transform their identities, and better serve their communities. Her experience spans multiple sectors and countries, including establishing and providing strategic leadership for new member engagement programs at two international higher education institutions. She has lived in three countries, traveled to more than 40 countries across six continents, and advised people from more than 43 different countries. Jennifer has shared her expertise through a range of professional presentations, consulting opportunities, and publications. She co-authored a textbook chapter and has written more than 80 published articles and essays. She received a short-term Fulbright to Germany and has a Master of Science from the Burgundy School of Business in Dijon, France; a Master of Education from the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Virginia; and a Bachelor of Arts in Policy Studies from Dickinson College in Carlisle, Pennsylvania.
