Kyle Hayes is the Senior Director of Public Policy at the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE). He helps lead ASAE's outreach to policymakers on issues critical to the association community. Hayes brings experience from trade associations and nonprofits to ASAE, having previously served as the Vice President of Government Affairs for the Commercial Vehicle Training Association (CVTA), a trade association of professional truck driver training programs. Hayes also led research projects for the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities (CBPP), a nonpartisan research and policy institute dedicated to federal budget and policy analysis. Hayes earned a Master's in Public Policy degree from American University in Washington, D.C., and he completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Georgia.
