W326 : Meetings and Events: Site Selection 2023 & Beyond
COURSE DESCRIPTION:
How do you figure out which location will most inspire your members and draw the greatest attendance and excitement among the attendees so that they are motivated to return next year? In this course, you will gain an overview of the most important considerations for site selection and how those factors may have changed in the last 2 years with the pandemic. How does your Association define objectives for meetings and events in alignment with organizational goals and stakeholder needs. What are the best practices used by Associations to prioritize the use of organizational resources (i.e., cost considerations) to achieve successful meetings and events. What process can be used to evaluate outcomes (past and current meetings) relative to objectives to improve future meetings and events. Finally, we will hear from 3 different site venues so that you can already start to evaluate your defined objectives against current offerings in the marketplace.
