COURSE DESCRIPTION:

Payment security is a necessary function for every company.  We all want to make sure that financial data is secure and accurate when dealing with our banks.  Electronic files help keep banking information secure.  They also reduce errors from incorrect data to check fraud.  During this session, we will focus on two specific banking features that you can put in place at your individual organization.  ACH files allow you to prepare and send transactional data to your bank to facilitate ACH transactions with your vendors.  Positive pay files help protect your assets from those who would seek to use your checks to steal your funds.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:

– Analyze Electronic Banking Options and Definitions: Participants will be able to analyze various electronic banking options and accurately define key terms.

– Examine Data Definitions and Bank Export/Import Settings: Attendees will be able to examine data definitions and configure bank export/import settings effectively.

– Create and Process ACH Data Files: Participants will be able to create and efficiently process ACH data files.

– Generate and Process Positive Pay Files: Attendees will be able to generate and accurately process positive pay files.
