Zero-Based Budgeting: An Approach for 21st Century Financial Management

February 8 @ 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm EST

COURSE DESCRIPTION:

Congratulations! Your association is opening in 2024. What will it cost to operate it? Where will its revenue come from? What will its impact be? This hands-on session will adapt a process called “zero-based budgeting,” first introduced in the 1970s, as a possible way to drive your organization’s growth in the 2020s.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:

  • Learn the strategies of zero-based budgeting as a way to begin fiscal year budgeting.
  • Practice implementing zero-based budgeting strategies in sample scenarios.
