Future-Proofing your Association: Creating Ethical AI Guidelines

September 30 @ 11:00 am - 12:00 pm EDT

Course Description:

AI is transforming how associations deliver value—but few have clear policies to guide responsible AI use. A recent study showed that while 92 percent of associations are using AI in some way, only 6-13 percent have an AI policy.  Without this guidance, associations risk inconsistency, data exposure, and ethical missteps. Join an ASAE Gold Circle Award winning communications expert, for this fast-moving session where you’ll learn how to create effective AI guidelines, the ethical and legal considerations, how to address the AI risks and opportunities, and tips to consider when developing an AI policy.

Learning Objectives:

Identify the essential components of an effective AI policy for associations

Develop an AI policy for your association

Distinguise between which AI guidelines are nice to have, and which are must haves

Understand the difference between ethical v. legal perspectives

Analyze the risks and opportunities AI presents to association executives
