At the heart of all business software is the accounting structure.  An efficient and useful chart of accounts is essential for posting transactions, analyzing financial results and preparing financial statements.  Every business has specific needs, but the base structure of a chart of accounts is similar.  During this session, we will review how charts of accounts are set up and used to meet the needs of the company management.  In addition, we will review how “Dimensions” are used in Business Central to capture additional data to make business reporting even more useful.

  • Look at various options for developing charts of accounts.
  • Review how dimensions in Business Central expand the functionality of charts of accounts.
